Merryland, in its endeavour to create more pupil-friendly activities in school, started its Arabic club named ‘MERITHIKA’
Merryland ‘Erithika’ (the Arabic term means progress) under the auspices of the department of Arabic. ‘Merithika’s avowed objectives are to provide its pupils a platform for creative writing and to help those who struggle to pick up the Arabic language skills.

The club started off on a privileged note in the presence of Mr Terrence Mcdermott, one of the leading inspectors from Ofsted, UK and the founder of the school Mrs Susheela George. The staff and the students are quite ecstatic about the starting of the club as they see it as a springboard as many innovative linguistic and cultural programmes are in the offing.
