MIS Flicker Studios – Ramadan Volunteering Initiative

As part of the UAE’s Year of Community and ADEK’s initiative to promote social responsibility, we are excited to launch the Service Learning Fridays program during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative invites Grade 11 and 12 students to participate in volunteer activities every Friday throughout Ramadan, allowing them to give back to the community and develop important life skills.

Through the platform volunteers.ae, students can register for various community service opportunities each week. By volunteering on Fridays, students will engage in activities that contribute to both their personal growth and the well-being of their community, all while embracing the spirit of generosity, empathy, and helping others.

What to Expect:

  • Weekly volunteering opportunities for Grade 11 and 12 students
  • A variety of service projects, such as supporting local charities, aiding in iftar pack preparation, and contributing to our community
  • Hands-on learning experiences to develop teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility
  • Opportunities to connect with peers and the community while creating lasting memories of giving back during Ramadan

How to Get Involved:

  1. Step 1: Visit volunteers.ae and explore the available volunteering activities each Friday.
  2. Step 2: Register for the activity that interests you and fits your schedule.
  3. Step 3: Make a difference in your community and reflect on your experience!
