Queries regarding the IGCSE, AS and A Level Cambridge June 2020 Exams

Dear Parents,

We have received a few queries regarding the IGCSE, AS and A Level Cambridge June 2020 Exams based on rumours circulating on social media. Please note that as of now, the advice from Cambridge is that exams are going ahead, so long as it is safe to do so, and so long as the government permits it. Therefore, we strongly urge all our students to commit themselves to serious preparation with the support of our dedicated staff who are always on stand-by to facilitate their online learning.

At this juncture, may we remind you that online learning requires a great deal of personal responsibility on the part of students. This implies that apart from their personal study schedules, students must log in to Class Dojo, the online learning platform at 8:00 am to follow a daily timetable and to complete and return the tasks set by teachers. While we assume that students of grades 10, 11 and 12 have the maturity to take ownership of and responsibility for their own learning, your supervision in this regard will ensure the parental support they need during this time.

We would like to assure you that we are working closely with ADEK and Cambridge to minimize disruption to the examination series while safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all our students. However, should there be a change of scenario because of COVID-19; we will inform you based on official updates from ADEK or Cambridge.

Stay safe.
