MERRYLAND PART OF HOSTING WORLD SKILLS ABU DHABI 2017

WORLDSKILLS ABU DHABI 2017

Abu Dhabi Education Council in association with ACTVET has invited Merryland to partner with them in hosting WORLDSKILLS ABU DHABI 2017. We are happy to be a part of this even with the OSOC (One School One Country) program.

This event is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Abu Dhabi is the first Arab country to host a WorldSkills Competition. This will be a celebration of excellence and a unique opportunity to share knowledge.

Young people from 76 member countries and regions will come to Abu Dhabi to compete in around 50 skill competitions.

Skill competitions

Skills are essential to the global economy and to the future prosperity of every country. WorldSkills recognises the power of skills and the need to promote and encourage vocational training and education to the highest level. The skill competitions at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 are a celebration of excellence and a unique opportunity to share knowledge. There will be competitions in close to 50 skills in Abu Dhabi.
