Namashkar.
I wish I was a student of your Sherwood Academy like my son PRANESH KUMAR BARUA and my daughter PRERANA BARUA in which case I would be able to reach many higher places. Anyhow finally although late I am writing to you. I am trying to innumerate a bit details of the remnant of my memories during my children’s days in Sherwood from 1993 to 2005. Meanwhile a few photographs of my children are also attached in this email to help refresh your memories to recognize them.
I felt your significant smartness which I expect from a Sherwood teacher and that’s what Sherwood is constituted of. The student of such brilliant teachers are bound to be smart and definite about fulfilling their ambitions in life. I wish this great Sherwood Academy to maintain the continuation of its flourishing spree in the days to come as it did in the past and accomplishing at the present time. I wish Sherwood can definitely execute its propagation and secure its prominence in the Academic sphere of Abudhabi under the most sophisticated leadership of its teachers.
My appreciation towards Sherwood knows no bound. Meanwhile this small note of praise will remain incomplete if I don’t mention the great name of a prominent educationist, philanthropist ,an excellent administrator, a great teacher, MRS. SUSHEELA GEORGE for whom I express my best unending regards who sacrificed her whole life span for the propagation of education and left no stone unturned to bring Sherwood to a present incomparable, promising and very very high status. I still remember a very significant and worthy speech MRS. GEORGE delivered during a Sherwood’s celebration evening held in BANGLADESH SCHOOL, ABUDHABI. To me MRS GEORGE is the CPU of the whole Sherwood operating system.
My son PRANESH has completed his 10th grade in IGCSE curriculum from your school in 2005 and directly admitted to New York University. He did his bachelors in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING IN 2011 from CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK and going to complete his masters in the same subject in 2013.
My daughter PRERANA completed her 4th grade from your school and now a 12th grade high school student and going to persue her career as a medical practitioner. I hope your affection and blessing will empower both of them to achieve glory in life.
My best regards to respected Mrs George and all the teachers of your school and wish you all the best.
Sincerely yours,
Priya Ranjan Barua,
NEW YORK.
