Merryland International School did participate in Global DIS Landing challenge 2022, a unique challenge which was aimed to foster innovative learning experiences to spark an early interest in aviation and aerospace engineering by learning to fly an airplane using simulated software. Four students from Grades 10 and 11 did attend six sessions of rigorous training by experienced professionals and pilots and Zubair Ahmed of Grade 11 C became the crowning glory as the overall winner in Secondary Category across the UAE.
