MIS Flicker Studios: A Storytelling Video Competition
Voices of the Workforce: A Storytelling Initiative for Students!
The Voices of the Workforce initiative aims to raise awareness about the invaluable contributions and challenges faced by labour workers across various industries. From construction and hospitality to manufacturing and services, these individuals play a crucial role in shaping our communities—yet their stories often go unheard.
Through this competition, students will have the opportunity to explore the real-life struggles of labour workers, including long working hours, difficult working conditions, and financial hardships. By understanding their experiences, students can develop empathy, respect, and a stronger sense of social responsibility toward those who help build and sustain our society.
How to Participate
Students are invited to create and submit a short video (up to 5 minutes) that tells the story of a labour worker. This can be done through personal interviews or informative research.
Selected videos will be featured on school platforms, social media, and community events, sparking meaningful discussions on fairness, dignity, and workers’ rights.
Why Participate?
By joining this initiative, students will gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by labor workers while contributing to a culture of gratitude and respect for their contributions.
