Following their successful school fundraiser, the Merryland students of Grade 12 took the next inspiring step: officially donating the significant proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
In a proud and heartwarming ceremony, representatives of the student organizing committee presented AED 20,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation representatives. This substantial amount was raised entirely through the collective effort and generosity displayed during the recent on-campus Bake Sale event.
The students’ initiative, driven by empathy and a commitment to social responsibility, culminated in this moment of contribution, demonstrating the true impact of their hard work. Every cupcake, cookie, and hour of teamwork directly translated into hope and smiles for children facing critical illnesses.
