BACK TO SCHOOL- FIRST ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Dear Parents,
We hope you are enjoying a refreshing summer break.
We are sharing guidelines from ADEK to ensure that all students and parents meet these requirements on the first day of school, Monday, 29 August 2022. Students who join school at a later date must meet the same requirements.
PCR Tests and School Entry Requirements
First Entry for students
All students of ages 12 and above must present a 96-hour valid PCR test report before joining the school on Monday, 29 August 2022.
Students can avail a free PCR test at a private or public clinic, hospital, or drive-through test centre without the need to present a designated school code. However, they will be required to show their Emirates ID (or passport if their Emirates ID has not yet been issued). Parents can contact their preferred centre to confirm the availability of a free test.
Students returning to school on Monday, 29 August 2022, should take the PCR test on a date from 25 to 27 August 2022 to ensure they get their results in time. The PCR test results must be submitted to the class teacher on Sunday, 28 August 2022.
Students above 12 years who do not have a 96-hour valid PCR test report will not be permitted to enter school.
Additional tests and entry requirements
A PCR test is required for those who have COVID-19 symptoms and they can return to school upon presenting the negative PCR test result and clearance of fever.
Entry for parents and visitors
Parents and visitors can enter the school premises upon presenting the Green Pass status on Al Hosn App.
Thank you very much for your co-operation.
