Well-Being Checklist

Well-being refers not only to our physical health but also to our mental and emotional health. We can grow, flourish and prosper only if we have a positive state of mind.

How we feel is what we think and what we think is how we behave.

Well- being is not just about happiness but it’s about:

  • RESIELIENCE
  • POSITIVE THINKING
  • SELF-CARE
  • EMPATHY
  • SENSE OF GRATITUDE
  • KNOWING OURSELF (OUR EMOTIONS, STRENGTHS)
  • BUILDING A SUPPORT SYSTEM
  • POSITIVE SELF IMAGE
  • BEING CONTENT WITH WHAT WE HAVE
  • BEING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

At Merryland, as much as we want all the students and staff to be happy, we also extend our support to promote a positive well-being across the school. Grade 10-11-12 students are requested to fill in this google survey by the end of this week and take a quick peek on their well-being.
