The MIS Mental Wellbeing Committee was established during the academic year 2021-2022 under the guidance of our esteemed Principal, Ms. Subha, and coordinated by our School Counselor, Ms. Anisha. This committee plays a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive school environment, where the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of every student is a top priority.
Wellbeing at MIS is not just about academic success; it involves the holistic development of our students, ensuring they grow into confident, resilient, and empathetic individuals. The Wellbeing Committee is dedicated to promoting initiatives and activities that encourage healthy lifestyles, mental health awareness, and a strong sense of community.
In addition to the WB Secretary position held by a student from grades 10-12 as part of the Student Council, the Wellbeing Committee includes students from grades 1-9 who actively participate in various school activities. These students work together to plan and implement programs that support their peers’ overall wellbeing, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing school atmosphere.
We invite new members to join this vibrant community by completing an application form, followed by an interview with the panel to finalize the selection process. By becoming a part of the Wellbeing Committee, students have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of their peers and contribute to a culture of care and compassion at MIS.
