Merryland International School, Abu Dhabi, proudly participated in the recent Athletics Sports Championship, where both our boys and girls teams showcased remarkable talent and determination. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from our students, who competed with great confidence against schools across the region.

With over 60 students entering in the first round, Merryland had qualifiers in nearly every category for the finals—a true testament to our students’ hard work and training.

Notable Achievements:

• Malek Yassir Mohamed (Grade 8-E) – Silver Medal in Long Jump (Under 13)
• Mahmoud Mohamed (Grade 10-E) – Bronze Medal in Long Jump (Under 13)
• Keerthi Sree Santhosh (Grade 10-B) – Silver Medal in 200m (Under 17)
• Maymunah Oluwasolape (Grade 10-B) – Bronze Medal in 200m (Under 17)

 

In the relay races:

• The Under 13 Girls’ Team secured SILVER MEDALS
• The Under 17 Girls’ Team triumphed with GOLD MEDALS
• The Under 17 Boys’ Team earned a BRONZE MEDAL
