The Annual MIS Flicker Studios Animation Competition celebrates artistic creativity and the inspiring craft of bringing drawings and ideas to life. Students are encouraged to explore animation, experiment with different styles, and showcase their imagination through engaging and meaningful visual stories.
Participants are required to create an original animated piece based on their assigned theme. This competition provides an excellent opportunity to enhance skills in drawing, design, sequencing, and digital production. Step into the world of animation and let your story move!
Theme Categories
Grades 4–6: “Everyday Courage”
Animations that highlight small acts of bravery—trying something new, speaking up, learning from mistakes, or helping someone even when it’s difficult.
Grades 7–9: “Choices That Shape Me”
Stories that focus on decision-making, peer pressure, self-discipline, and how one positive choice can shape a person’s journey.
Grades 10–12: “Becoming the Person I Want to Be”
Animations exploring identity, dreams, personal transformation, determination, and overcoming inner challenges.
Teachers: “The Magic of Sharing Smiles”
Simple, heartfelt stories where characters spread happiness through kindness, positivity, and the power of a genuine smile.
Rules & Regulations
- The animation must not contain any AI-generated content.
- All entries must clearly reflect the assigned theme.
- The final video must not exceed 3 minutes.
- Only original and theme-relevant work will be considered.
- All submissions must be completed before the deadline.
