BACK TO SCHOOL

 

Our bags are packed and we are ready to go

so excited we are as you all know

We are very eager to see our friends

Our joy at meeting our teachers has no end

Lunch breaks and PE lessons

Trust Us! They are such a blessing

Physics, chemistry, biology and Math

Can’t wait to show my friends all my DIY hacks

New bags, lunch boxes, shoes and socks

In addition we also have a pack of masks

Can’t touch, Can’t hug as we maintain physical distancing

But we know we are going to a safe place and that’s so encouraging

We can’t share our food, books or pens

But we can definitely share laughter till the corridor’s ends

Along with this excitement there is anxiety too

But we know that together we can get this through

Mask free days will soon be here

As the Almighty is with us, far and near

We just need to have faith and trust

Every cloud has a silver lining

And this pandemic has taught us so much to be grateful for…

We extend our heartfelt gratitude towards this great nation

And to the great leaders with a clear vision

Working for the safety of all the people

By being proactive in all ways possible

We thank this nation for its tireless efforts

To fight this pandemic by practicing all given measures

Back to school, here we go

To embark a new journey of learning free from woe
