GRANDPARENTS DAY

Grandparents are an important part of the family as they are the ones who carry forward and pass on generations of tradition. They nurture and care for their family and they are an integral part of grandchildren’s bedtime stories.

Grandparent’s day is celebrated to give thanks to the contributions these wonderful family members make to our lives, our families, and our communities.

At MIS, Grandparents day was celebrated with much fanfare. Kinder children made posters of their maternal and paternal grandparents and shared with the class their favorite and special moments with them. They also recalled what an integral part of the family they are and their contributions to the family traditions and customs and most of all how they are able to guide younger family members through the nuances of life.
