National Day was celebrated on 2 December which marks the UAE’s Union Day between the seven emirates which was followed by the joining of the seventh emirate in 1971. On this 51st year of National Day a grand celebration was held in the school to mark the event.
The children were dressed in the local attire Kandura and Abaya to honor the nation, and they sang songs praising the country, Father of the Nation and the rulers of the country.
Children participated in a rally and were seen waving the UAE National flag and praising the achievements and successes of the leaders of this great nation.
There were events that showcased the rich heritage and culture of the country and children and teachers exchanged greetings.
