Merryland International School Anti-Bullying Awareness Competition

Dear Students,

We are excited to announce the commencement of Anti-Bullying Week, which will run from September 13th to September 20th, 2023. During this week, Merrylanders will stand united against bullying by demonstrating kindness, friendliness, and thoughtfulness towards one another.

As a vital part of this initiative, we invite all MIS students to participate in a competition aimed at creating awareness on the crucial issue of anti-bullying. We believe that creativity and awareness are powerful tools for positive change, and we encourage all students to share their unique talents and ideas to help create a safer and more inclusive environment within our school community.

Competition Categories:

1. Junior Category (Grades 4, 5 & 6):
– Create a one or two-minute video
– Develop a PowerPoint presentation
– Design digital posters
– Create Scratch games
– Artwork submissions
– Skit performances

2. Senior Category (Grades 7, 8 & 9):
– Create a one or two-minute video
– Develop a PowerPoint presentation
– Design digital posters
– Create Scratch games
– Artwork submissions
– Skit performances

Guidelines:

– All submissions must be original.
– Plagiarized or copied work will result in disqualification.
– Submissions after the due date (20th September) will not be considered.
– Group work is allowed, with a maximum of three students per group.
