We are working closely with the Abu Dhabi Police Department, Abu Dhabi Department of Transportation and Abu Dhabi Municipality to institute necessary changes to the traffic flow in and around the school grounds.

To that end, please note the following items:

1. All street parking is illegal. Vehicles found parked or even waiting (blocking the road) will be ticketed. We have been told that the curbs will be repainted to reflect this decision.
2. We have 3 cross walks in the school parking lot. We request that all pedestrians use sidewalks and cross walks to cross from one side to the other. Do not walk in the driving area of the lot or between cars. Drivers, please drive slowly, stop and check both directions before proceeding over a cross walk. Remember, pedestrians have the right of way in all cases! (Even when you are running late!)
3. A queue will form as indicated in yellow on the maps. BE PATIENT! Do not cut the queue, have respect for your fellow parents in this matter. When leaving, right turn only and use alternate roads to get to the main roads. You will find by using different roads, you will bypass the heavy rush.
4. When parking in the parental lot, please reverse park and pull all the way to the stopper. They have been placed to indicate where to stop, leaving sufficient room for walking on the side walk. Only when pulling all the way into the parking spot can we ensure smooth flow of traffic in the driving portion. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH PARENTS IN THE PROCESS OF PARKING OR EXITING A SPOT.
5. Drivers of vehicles should never exit unless in a designated parking spot. It is dangerous, and disrespectful in the case of blocking road traffic or blocking someone in a parking spot.
6. If you can’t find a parking spot immediately, circle around and try again. Come earlier next time or, better still, come later. Your child is safe in the school and there is no need to rush. If you can wait an extra 20 minutes to collect your child so that you don’t have to deal with the rush; that is best. All children not staying for additional classes should be collected by 3:30pm. All children staying for additional classes should be collected by 5:00pm.
7. If waiting, taxis must park in school parking. They may drop off and pickup but cannot wait outside of a parking spot. Those that do will be reported.
8. If we can all take our time and be patient with one another, the stress and frustration of pickup and drop-off will be reduced.
