Welcome to the Merryland International School Debate Club (MISDC) for the 2026–2027 academic year!
MISDC is a space for students to develop their confidence, communication, critical-thinking, and public-speaking skills while engaging with important issues from around the world. Whether you are an experienced debater or completely new to debating, MISDC welcomes students who are curious, passionate, and ready to make their voices heard.
Throughout the year, members will have opportunities to participate in debates, discussions, workshops, and competitions, while learning how to build strong arguments, think on their feet, research effectively, and respectfully challenge different perspectives.
More than just a debate club, MISDC is a community where students can find their voice, learn from others, and grow into confident leaders.
