Students from Merryland International School participated in the International Asteroid Discovery Program–an Internationally Accredited Citizen Science program by NASA and IASC. Community helpers are important people whose job is to help others. Everyone who lives in a community can be a community helper. Some examples of community helpers are teachers, firefighters, police officers, military, etc. At Merryland Kindergarten, children represented various community helpers dressing as firefighters, doctors, nurses, teachers, etc. Children were educated and made aware of a community helpers role.
