Soul Time – Be the Sunflower

Be the Sunflower

Bright, yellow-faced sunflowers stand out in any garden, admired for their beauty and stature.

All day long, they turn towards the sun, following its path like a compass, drawing energy from this supreme source.

A union of countless tiny flowers, sunflowers track the sun from dawn to dusk, embodying a joyful expression of life and dependence on a higher power.

However, their story changes on dark, cloudy days when the sun is hidden.

On such days, instead of looking to the sky, sunflowers face each other to generate energy.

They orient themselves toward the light within and to one another, displaying an unwavering faith that inspires, both in brilliance and in gloom.

Nature offers us a profound lesson through sunflowers.

Like them, we are designed to trust in the divine provision of grace on our journey.

We, too, must lean on each other for warmth and support, whether in moments of joy or times of hardship.

Let us bloom each day, trusting the supreme source, sharing goodness and warmth with one another, and remaining like sunflowers in the beautiful garden of family and society.
